COVID-19 UPDATE 13/04/2022 - Omicron Traffic Light System Clinic Protocol

Wednesday 13 April 2022 | 11:59 PM

At 2359 13 April 2022 all of New Zealand will move into the Traffic Light System (Orange). We have reviewed our screening protocol for face-to-face patients to match the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the District Health Board.

COVID-19 Omicron Policy

Due to the increasing community Covid-19 prevalence, Greenlane Medical Specialists has to implement safety screening protocol.

  • For double vaccinated patients, we would be able to serve you face-to-face unless you have upper respiratory tract symptoms. We will screen you, take your temperature and verbally ask you some questions upon arrival.
  • For unvaccinated patients or single dose vaccinated patients, we will require a negative RAT test on arrival. We consider this necessary to ensure the safety of other patients coming to the clinic. Please come 30 minutes earlier and park outside the clinic. Call to inform us that you have arrived and one of our nurses will assist you with a RAT test, which will be at your own cost.
  • No Support person unless you are frail or <15 years old.
  • Please have a face mask on at all times while in the clinic.

If you have further inquiries, please contact the Admin Team on 09 930 6108 or email admin@glms.co.nz. [Read More]
